Barnabas Foundation appoints Knoll and Dykstra to lead enhanced member relations efforts

Barnabas Foundation has appointed Kurt Knoll and Lynell Dykstra to new roles, in an effort to better serve current and potential member organizations.

In his new role as director of investments and member relations, Knoll will provide strategy and overall direction for membership services, and he will be the primary contact for new ministries seeking to partner with Barnabas Foundation. He will continue to consult with member organizations on effective asset management strategies.

Knoll has been on staff with Barnabas Foundation since 2006. Previously, he held positions of chief financial officer, VP of finance & administration and corporate controller with various companies. He is passionate about stewardship and is a Crown Ministries trained financial budget counselor. Knoll graduated cum laude with a B.S. in accounting from Northeastern Illinois University.

As the new associate director of member relations, Dykstra will provide day-to-day help and support for the majority of current member organizations. She will also field new inquiries from potential member ministries.

Dykstra has been a member of the Barnabas Foundation team since 1994, most recently as marketing project manager. In this role, she has been instrumental in communications with over 200 Barnabas Foundation member organizations and in planning the Foundation’s annual planned giving conference. Dykstra’s career includes service with rep firms, engineering firms and a child support recovery unit. She is a graduate of Dordt College in Sioux Center, Iowa, with a business degree in business administration.
