Professionals at Barnabas Foundation provide advice to individuals and families concerning their estate plans. As Christians, our emphasis is on the opportunities and advantages of including charitable gifts in these plans. Some of the largest gifts that organizations receive are generated from sound advice in the planned-giving process.

Part of the experience that we bring to member organizations is that of working totally in ministry support. We understand the financial requirements of ministry programs and the development work necessary to sustain them. We also bring a heart for ministry that advances God's kingdom.

We work with donors to develop a plan that considers both their individual and family needs. We also urge them to develop an estate plan that reflects their values. This includes the support of Christian ministries in most cases.

During fiscal year ending July 31, 2008, Barnabas Foundation bequest activity was over $105 million, bringing all-time bequest activity to over $1.66 billion. Completed bequests within fiscal year 2008, totaled $46.5 million, bringing all-time completions to over $1.07 billion.

As Christians, we believe that each of us is a steward (manager) of whatever God has entrusted to us. This perspective distinguishes us from others who provide estate planning information and advice.
