As we worship God with our offering this morning I would like to read a scripture verse and then ask you a question.
The scripture verse is from Matthew 6:24:
No one can serve two masters. Either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve both God and Money.
And the question is this:
Who is your master?
Would you think about that this week?
Let's Pray:
Father, as we bring our offering this morning we confess that many of us try to maintain a balancing act between our love for money and our love for You. Jesus said that wouldn't work. Help us to put you first in our lives. Amen.
