Children's Sermon - Can't Stop at One
Give a couple of kids a single potato chip from a new bag of chips. Have them eat it. Ask if they have had enough. Do they want more? Is just one chip ever enough? Talk a little about what stewardship is and how practicing stewardship just once or twice a year isn't really enough. God wants us to be good stewards all the time, 7 days a week, 52 weeks a year. Just once a year isn't enough for God, he wants stewardship to be a lifestyle for those who love Him.
Thanks to David Visbeen, Cedar Hill, NJ, for sharing this.
