Why Do Organizations Become Members Of Barnabas Foundation?
Partnership with ministry in planned giving for over 30 years.
The principal activity at Barnabas Foundation has been to provide advice to individuals and families concerning their estate plans. As Christians, our emphasis is on the opportunities and advantages of including charitable gifts in these plans. Some of the largest gifts that organizations receive are generated from sound advice in the planned-giving process.
Understand needs of ministry organizations.
Part of the experience that we bring to member organizations is that of working totally in ministry support. We understand the financial requirements of ministry programs and the development work necessary to sustain them. We also bring a heart for ministry that advances God's kingdom.
Help donors give more to ministry through effective gift structure.
We work with donors to develop a plan that considers both their individual and family needs. We also urge them to develop an estate plan that reflects their values. This includes the support of Christian ministries in most cases.
Proven ability to close planned gifts.
During 2003, Barnabas Foundation bequest activity was over $69 million, bringing all-time bequest activity to over $1.22 billion. Completed bequests in 2003, totaled $53 million, bringing all-time completions to over $787 million.
Committed Christian Staff.
As Christians, we believe that each of us is a steward (manager) of whatever God has entrusted to us. That perspective distinguishes us from others who provide estate planning information and advice.
