What Services Does Barnabas Foundation Offer To Member Organizations?
<!-- Alternate content for non-supporting browsers --> <br><ul> <li><b>Planned Giving Service for donors. </b> Our planned giving professionals will meet with your donors in a confidential manner. We will then send a letter summarizing the conversation and the estate plan. The donor then takes the letter to their attorney who prepares the legal documents. We also work with attorneys and other advisors selected by the donors with whom we meet.</li> <br><br> <li><b>Administration of Charitable Trusts and Gift Annuities.</b> With our gift management and administration, Barnabas Foundation assists both donors and charities in delivering gifts that are complex to administer. The service provides convenience to the donor and expertise to the charity. It helps donors to give effectively and contributes quality gift management to our member organizations.</li> <br><br> <li><b>Administration of a donor-advised fund.</b> The <b> Stewards Fund</b>, a donor-advised fund, provides the flexibility to insure that gifts are used most effectively. A donor can give appreciated assets like stock; arrange for sale of a business; use it as an alternative to a family foundation. The <b> Stewards Fund</b> flexibility accommodates many charitable gift opportunities. It also allows the donor to give to multiple charities from a single gift.</li> <br><br> <li><b>Review of planned giving program, including recommendations.</b> Our planned giving professionals will share their experience and expertise. They are eager to assist member organizations in advancing an effective and productive planned giving program.</li> <br><br> <li><b>Investment in Barnabas Foundation Common Trust Fund.</b> Member organizations have the opportunity to use the Common Trust Fund for their endowments and/or other organization funds. Since we can combine the assets of our donors and members in the Common Trust Fund, we have the ability to work with nationally-recognized investment management firms at competitive fee levels. Our highly-qualified investment committee, along with Merrill Lynch as fund custodian, oversees our investment managers. </li>
