As we worship God with our offering this morning I would like to read a scripture verse and then ask you a question.
The scripture verse for this morning is from Romans 12:2:
Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God's will is -- His good, pleasing and perfect will.
And the question is this:
What evidence is there that your lifestyle is shaped by Scripture rather than by culture?
Would you think about that this week?
Let's Pray:
Father, as we bring our offering this morning we confess that many of us have allowed our lifestyles to be shaped by our materialistic culture rather than by Scripture. Help us to make You and Your Word the guiding influence in our lives.
